Well, here I am in Taiwan. The first of four countries that I’ll be visiting on my trip.
The flight went well, decent food, tried to watch some movies but the small screen made it hard to follow any movie with a complex plot so I stuck with watching part of Spiderman and one episode of Big Bang Theory (I still think the show is stupid) and Two Broke Girls.

Contrary  to my original belief that I would not be able to sleep on the plane, I managed to get approximately 5 hours of sleep and woke up with only 2 hours left until we landed in Taiwan.  Part of the reason why I was able to get that much sleep was because I was the only passenger in a row of 3 that originally had a girl around 12 years old who requested to change seats so she could sit next to another female. I was confused at first but didn’t let it bother me since I now had my own row.  Wahoo!

After getting of the plane I found a bus that took me to Taipei then found a taxi that took me to the hostel.
